The community at Rizzaster has grown, and with it, we've received increasing questions from parents about the safety of our chat environment. We've decided to implement a tiered access system for the chat where users need to verify their age before being granted access to certain channels. This change is aimed at ensuring that our space remains appropriate and secure for all members, especially our younger players.

To achieve this, we will add a simple age verification step during the user registration process. When a user signs up, they will be prompted to enter a date of birth. This data will be used to automatically assign them to age-appropriate chat channels. Users under 13 will be directed to a more controlled, monitored area where chat is moderated more closely. Older users will have access to broader, less restrictive chat spaces but will still be subject to our community guidelines.

This approach balances the need for a welcoming and inclusive environment with the necessity of maintaining a safe space. We understand that every parent is concerned, and this step will help us address those concerns proactively. Our team will monitor the chat areas and user interactions closely to ensure that the system works effectively and meets our community's needs.
