Last week, we received several inquiries from parents regarding the safety measures in place for chat communications on Rizzaster. One of the key concerns was the potential exposure to inappropriate content and interactions with strangers.
The primary issue arose when a 13-year-old player shared an experience where a stranger in the chat mentioned an inappropriate video game. This incident highlighted the need for stricter filtering mechanisms and clearer guidelines. The moderation team had already implemented a chat filter that blocks certain keywords, but it was not foolproof. We decided to reinforce the filter to include more sensitive language and also updated our community guidelines to emphasize the importance of reporting any suspicious or inappropriate behavior.

Additionally, we held a brief meeting with the volunteer moderators to discuss the importance of immediate action in such situations. We emphasized the need for a zero-tolerance policy towards inappropriate content and interactions, and how quickly addressing such incidents can help maintain a safe environment for all users.
