We're using Minecraft Java Edition 1.19.3 as the base version for our Rizzaster game server. This choice is driven by its balance of performance and feature compatibility with our mod pack. The mods we've selected require a specific version of the game to function properly, and 1.19.3 is the most up-to-date and widely supported version that meets our needs.
To ensure a smooth experience, we're also enforcing the use of a custom version of the mod pack. This version is tailored to work seamlessly with 1.19.3 and includes several stability improvements over the stock mod set. We've chosen a mix of popular and less common mods to keep the game balanced and interesting without overwhelming new players. Regular updates to this mod pack will be scheduled to keep pace with any new mods that we plan to add, ensuring that our server stays fun and engaging for our teen and kid players.
