On the second day of the Rizzaster server launch, a new helper named Sam took over the night shift. During his first shift, Sam encountered a situation where a young player, Alex, repeatedly used offensive language and violated our community guidelines. Sam initially tried to redirect Alex’s conversation and politely ask him to adhere to the rules, but Alex became increasingly aggressive and verbally abusive.
This incident highlighted the importance of having clear procedures for handling such situations. Following the review, we updated our staff handbook to include more detailed guidelines for addressing disruptive behavior. The handbook now emphasizes the need for staff to remain calm and professional, to document all incidents, and to escalate to higher authorities if necessary. Sam was provided with additional training on these procedures to ensure better handling of similar situations in the future.
