We've decided to implement a clear, concise set of rules for our Discord server to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for all members. This decision is based on feedback from our community and our moderation team's experiences. Our goal is to create a space where kids and teens can come together, have fun, and share their enthusiasm for the game without facing disruptive or harmful behavior.
We opted for a simple, easy-to-understand format that minimizes legal jargon while still covering essential areas. This approach helps users quickly grasp the expectations without feeling overwhelmed. For instance, our rule against harassment is broad enough to cover various forms of abuse, but clear enough to be actionable. By keeping the language straightforward, we can focus on behavior rather than overly specific policies, which can be more effective in fostering a positive community atmosphere.
