Last week, the Rizzaster community server experienced a significant increase in activity due to the announcement of a new in-game event called "Rizzaster Battle Royale." The event was intended to run from Monday to Wednesday, with a focus on fostering team spirit and friendly competition among players. However, the influx of new participants and the high excitement led to a temporary server crash on the second day.
The main reasons for the crash were the overwhelming number of players joining the event at the same time and the lack of sufficient bandwidth allocation to handle the additional load. The game server was not designed to handle such a large number of concurrent users, leading to a temporary loss of service. To mitigate this issue, the moderators will increase the server’s capacity during the next event and will also implement a staggered start time for players to join the event to avoid a similar scenario in the future.
As a result of this incident, the community events calendar has been updated to include more detailed planning phases. The process now involves a thorough review of the server’s current capacity, potential traffic, and necessary upgrades before scheduling any large-scale events. This change aims to ensure smoother and more enjoyable experiences for all participants while maintaining the spirit of community and competition in Rizzaster.
