We’ve decided to implement a dynamic events calendar on our Rizzaster platform to keep the community engaged and informed about upcoming activities. Our choice was driven by a few key considerations:

First, a calendar helps us organize and publicize our community events effectively. We plan a variety of events such as game nights, tournaments, and social gatherings, and keeping all of these in one place ensures that every member is aware of the schedule and can participate if they wish. By having a centralized location, we can easily add new events, update existing ones, and promote them through various in-game channels.

Second, we aim to cater to the diverse interests of our community. Some kids might be more interested in competitive gaming while others might prefer social activities. Having a clear and accessible calendar allows us to showcase a range of events that cater to these varied interests, thereby encouraging participation from a broader audience. This also helps in building a more inclusive community where everyone can find something that interests them.

Lastly, the calendar will serve as a tool for managing volunteer moderators. We want to make sure that all events are well-coordinated and that moderators are aware of their responsibilities. By assigning event organizers and moderators through the calendar itself, we can streamline communication and ensure that everyone is on the same page. This will help in maintaining the quality and organization of our events, ultimately enhancing the overall experience for our community members.
