We've had an increase in community engagement lately, which is fantastic, but it also means we need more support from our moderators. Today, we welcomed our new moderator, Alex, who will be joining the team to help manage our growing player base. We chose to onboard Alex through a structured yet flexible approach to ensure consistent quality and maintain our community's well-being.
First, Alex will go through our comprehensive training module, covering topics such as community guidelines, reporting and handling issues, communication protocols, and technical support. This will take place over two weeks, allowing Alex to familiarize themselves with the rules and tools in a structured manner. Once the training is completed, Alex will participate in a live onboarding session, where they will shadow an experienced moderator. This will help Alex understand the real-world scenarios and decision-making processes that come with the role.
Following the onboarding session, Alex will be given access to our community management tools and will work closely with our experienced team for at least a month. During this time, Alex will handle live community interactions under supervision to build confidence and ensure they can handle situations effectively. Regular check-ins and feedback sessions will be scheduled to ensure Alex feels supported and to address any concerns early on.
We are excited to have Alex join our team and look forward to seeing how their addition will benefit our community. Our goal is to continue to grow and support our moderators, ensuring they have the tools and resources they need to make a positive impact on Rizzaster.
