We've been brainstorming the rules for our upcoming building contest and here are the key points we’ve decided on:
The goal is to make the contest both fun and fair, so we've set some basic guidelines for participants. Each player will have a limited amount of time to build their structures, using the in-game resources and tools available. We will ensure that all players have access to the same materials and that the playing field is level by providing detailed instructions on how to obtain and use these resources. There will be a maximum and minimum size limit for buildings to maintain a balanced and manageable competition.
We're still working on how to judge the buildings. The criteria will include creativity, functionality, and adherence to the theme. However, we're not sure yet how we will handle tiebreakers. Should we have a second round of voting? Or perhaps judges will decide on runners-up based on specific criteria? We also need to consider how we will announce the winners and if there will be any prizes, as well as how we will handle any disputes that might arise.
Let’s make sure to keep the rules clear and simple, so that everyone, even the younger players, can understand them easily. We will also need to ensure that there are enough moderators available during the contest to manage any issues that might come up, especially with younger participants.
