At the last community meeting, we decided to establish some guidelines for rank requirements to help maintain a fair and organized community. The new ranks will consist of Junior Member, Member, Moderator, Senior Moderator, and Admin. The requirements for each rank are as follows: Junior Member requires 100 hours of active play, 50 friend requests, and completion of the in-game orientation. Member requires 500 hours of active play, 200 friend requests, and completion of 2 game modes. Moderator requires 1000 hours of active play, 500 friend requests, and completion of 5 game modes, as well as 3 months of service as a Junior Member or Member. Senior Moderator requires 1500 hours of active play, 750 friend requests, and completion of 10 game modes, as well as 6 months of service as a Moderator. Admin requires 2000 hours of active play, 1000 friend requests, and completion of 20 game modes, as well as 9 months of service as a Senior Moderator.
The promotion process will be as follows: a member will be reviewed every 3 months to see if they meet the rank requirements. If they do, they will be promoted to the next rank. If they do not, they will be given a warning and can appeal the decision. If the member has a good record and consistently meets the requirements, they will be promoted immediately. The promotions will be decided by the moderation team, and decisions can be appealed to the community through a formal appeal process.
Open questions: How will we handle cases where members are missing crucial information, such as in-game screenshots or friend request logs? What is the maximum number of friend requests that a member can have before they are considered inactive? How will we handle rank promotions during major server events or updates that may affect gameplay?
