Last week, we observed a significant decrease in player engagement during our Thursday evening sessions, which typically see high participation. The primary reason for this drop was the repetitive nature of the minigames being played, with players feeling a lack of variety and excitement. Several of the more popular minigames, such as the Obstacle Course and the Treasure Hunt, were being played back-to-back, leading to player boredom and disinterest.
To address this issue, our team decided to introduce a more dynamic minigame rotation. We began rotating the minigames more frequently, ensuring a mix of new and familiar games each session. Additionally, we started incorporating feedback from the players more actively, asking for their input on what games they enjoyed and which ones they wanted to see more of. This approach not only increased player satisfaction but also boosted overall engagement and participation.
