Shop and Supporter Benefits Update

/archive/wallpapers/datapacks/ · last edited 23 Feb 2018 · Support

An incident was reported where a player attempted to purchase multiple premium items using a single account and then resold access to other players for in-game currency. This undermined the value of supporter perks and created imbalance. The issue occurred because the shop’s purchase limits were not enforced strictly during the initial rollout. As a result, some users were able to bypass intended restrictions, which led to unfair advantages and confusion among the community.

Following the incident, the shop system was updated to enforce a hard limit of one item purchase per day per account, with a separate cooldown for premium cosmetics. All purchase records are now logged and visible to moderators. Supporter status now includes a permanent badge, exclusive chat color, and a custom in-game title that appears on player profiles. These benefits are tied directly to a verified supporter tier and cannot be shared or transferred.

Supporter benefits were revised to exclude any power-leveling or gameplay-advancing items. The focus shifted to aesthetic and community recognition features. This change was made to maintain balance and ensure that the shop remains a way to show support without compromising fair play. Moderators now run weekly checks on supporter accounts to prevent abuse and maintain integrity.

The shop interface was simplified to reduce confusion. Each item now displays a clear description of its purpose and duration (if applicable). All changes were tested in a private server environment before deployment. The update was communicated via a server-wide announcement, and a FAQ section was added to the help menu. Feedback from users has been positive, with no reported issues since the update.
