Ban Appeals

Ban appeals are a common occurrence on Rizzaster, and moderators handle them according to the server's rules and their own discretion. When a player appeals a ban, the moderator reviewing the appeal will assess the reason for the ban and the player's actions leading up to it. If the moderator determines that the ban was issued in error, they may choose to lift the ban or modify it to a lesser punishment.

Moderators are expected to be consistent in their application of server rules, and ban appeals should not be used as a means of circumventing the rules. However, if a player's actions have been deemed unfair or outside the spirit of the rules, a moderator may take into account factors such as the player's past behavior, the severity of the infraction, and any mitigating circumstances. The goal is to maintain a fair and enjoyable environment for all players.

In general, ban appeals are reviewed within 24-48 hours, although in urgent cases, this timeframe may be shorter. If an appeal is successful, the moderator will notify the affected player and update the server's records accordingly. Players who consistently abuse the ban appeal system may have their own appeals ignored in the future. Moderators are also encouraged to provide clear explanations for their decisions in the chat, helping to maintain transparency and trust within the community.

If a player feels that their appeal has been unfairly denied, they can request a review by another moderator or the server administrator. However, please note that a review may not result in a change of decision, and the server administrator's decision is final. Moderators are trained to handle ban appeals and will make decisions in the best interest of the community.
