This handbook replaces all previous informal guides and verbal instructions. It is the definitive reference for all volunteer helpers starting on the server. All staff members must read and understand the content before receiving full permissions. This version includes updated rules, clear escalation paths, and standardized response templates.

New helpers are expected to monitor the chat in the main public channel during their shift. If a player uses aggressive language, shares inappropriate content, or disrupts gameplay, the helper must issue a warning using the standard message template. First warnings are always verbal in chat, followed by a private message if the behavior continues. Three warnings within one session result in a temporary mute.

Any player reporting another player for harassment, cheating, or rule-breaking must be taken seriously. The helper must document the incident in the internal log with time, channel, and content summary. If the report involves a serious breach like doxxing or threats, the case must be escalated to the lead moderator within ten minutes. No action should be taken without logging it first.

Moderation is not about punishment—it’s about maintaining a safe, fun space. Helpers are encouraged to redirect disruptive behavior with positive prompts. For example, if someone is arguing in the chat, suggest they join the team-based mini-game instead. Always be respectful and patient, even when dealing with repeated rule violations. The goal is to help players learn, not to enforce rules rigidly.

This handbook is a living document. Feedback from staff can be submitted through the designated feedback channel once per week. Updates will be posted in the server announcement channel with a summary of changes. All staff members should check for updates monthly and re-read the section on conflict resolution every quarter.
