The building contest, also known as "Build-a-Thon", is a regular event on the server where players are given a set amount of time to design and build a structure using the game's building materials. The contest has been running for a few months now, and the rules have undergone some changes since its inception.

The contest typically takes place every Saturday evening, and players have exactly one hour to build their structure. The building area is a designated space within the server, and players can use all the game's building materials to construct their design. The contest starts at a random time each Saturday, and players must be online and in the building area during the contest period to participate. Players can only use pre-existing structures and objects within the building area to build their structure, and no external resources can be used.

One of the key changes made to the rules was the introduction of a "judge's pick" category, where the server's moderators will select a winning entry based on creativity and originality. In addition to the judge's pick, the community will also vote on their favorite entry, and the winner of this category will receive a small in-game prize. All entries are displayed in the server's hall of fame, where players can view and compare their creations. The contest is intended to encourage creativity and teamwork among players, and the moderators are always looking for ways to improve and expand the event.
