We are a small community of volunteers dedicated to creating a welcoming and inclusive environment for our players. As a new helper, it's essential to understand our values and guidelines to ensure a positive experience for everyone.
We prioritize respect and kindness towards all players, staff, and each other. This means avoiding personal attacks, harassment, or discriminatory behavior. We expect helpers to maintain a professional tone and demeanor, even in difficult situations. Our community is built on trust, so we encourage open communication and feedback.
When dealing with player issues, helpers should aim to listen actively, offer support, and provide clear guidance. If necessary, they can escalate concerns to more senior staff members or moderators. We have a set of rules and guidelines in place to maintain a fair and safe environment, and helpers are expected to familiarize themselves with these.
In terms of day-to-day responsibilities, helpers may be assigned tasks such as moderation, event planning, or content creation. They will receive training and support to help them develop their skills and confidence. We encourage helpers to take ownership of their work, but also understand that mistakes can happen. We have a growth mindset and are always looking for ways to improve and learn together.
If you're new to helping or have questions about our guidelines, don't hesitate to ask. Our senior staff members and moderators are always available to provide guidance and support. We also have a team of experienced helpers who can share their knowledge and advice. Remember, we're all in this together, and we're here to help each other succeed.
