Vote Rewards

The vote reward system is a way for us to incentivize players to participate in server events and activities. When a crate is dropped, players can vote on which item to reward, and the item that receives the most votes is sent to the winner. The voting process is simple: players type "vote" and the name of the item they want to see the crate reward, and the vote is recorded in the server logs.

We use a simple majority system, where the item with the most votes wins. If there's a tie, the winner is randomly selected from the top three items with the most votes. We've found that this system is easy to understand and works well, as long as players don't spam votes by voting for the same item over and over.

We've implemented a cooldown period for voting on crates to prevent players from trying to manipulate the outcome by voting repeatedly. During this time, players cannot vote on crates until the cooldown period has expired. This helps to ensure that votes are genuine and reflect the player's true preference.

The cooldown period is set at 30 minutes, which should give players enough time to consider their vote and make a genuine decision. We'll review the effectiveness of this system periodically and adjust it as needed to ensure it remains fair and engaging for all players.
