Ban Appeals Process

/archive/textures/votes/ · last edited 25 Aug 2019 · Moderation

When a player appeals a ban, the process is as follows. The appeal must be submitted through the in-game appeal system within 24 hours of the ban being placed. The appeal must include a valid reason for the ban being lifted, as stated by the moderators. The appeal is then reviewed by the moderators, and a decision is made.

The moderators will consider the following factors when reviewing an appeal: the severity of the infraction, the player's previous behavior, and any mitigating circumstances. The moderators reserve the right to reject an appeal if they feel it does not meet the community's standards. If an appeal is accepted, the ban will be lifted and the player will be permitted to continue playing.

In some cases, the moderators may require additional information or clarification before making a decision. This may include providing additional context or evidence to support the appeal. The moderators will communicate with the player through the in-game chat system to inform them of the decision and explain the reasoning behind it.

If a player continues to abuse the system or repeatedly appeals bans, their account may be suspended or terminated. The moderators have the final say in all ban appeals and decisions.
