Backups of World Files

The meeting took place on Friday, 17th February, at 8 PM. The topic of discussion was backups of the world files for the Rizzaster server. The current method of backups was to manually copy the world files to a cloud storage service every week, which can be inefficient and prone to human error. The moderators discussed the benefits of having a more automated and frequent backup system.

The majority of the moderators agreed that the server's performance would improve with a more consistent backup schedule. They decided to implement a daily backup of the world files to a secure external drive, which would be checked manually every other day. The drive would be stored in a designated safe location, away from potential water damage and tampering. The moderators also agreed to create a separate folder for backups and to establish a routine for rotating and archiving old backups.

There are a few open questions regarding the implementation of this new backup system. How will the daily backups be triggered automatically? How will the moderators be notified when the backup process is complete? What will happen in the event of a server crash or loss of external drive storage? These questions will be addressed in future meetings. The moderators will also research and explore the possibility of using a backup service provided by the cloud storage company that the server is hosted on.
