Server Rules

The Discord server rules were written to ensure a positive and respectful environment for all members. We aim to foster a sense of community and camaraderie, while maintaining a level of order and organization.

One of the key decisions made while writing these rules was to emphasize the importance of mutual respect. This is a crucial aspect of building and maintaining a positive community, as it sets the tone for how members interact with one another. To that end, we made a conscious decision to phrase the rules in a way that is clear and concise, yet still approachable and easy to understand. This was a deliberate choice, as we wanted to avoid coming across as overly restrictive or authoritarian, while still providing a clear framework for behavior.

In terms of specific content, the rules cover a range of topics, including communication styles, behavior towards others, and guidelines for shared resources. We've also included a few miscellaneous rules that are intended to help maintain the overall tone and atmosphere of the server. Throughout the rules, we've tried to use a mix of language that is clear and concise, while also being approachable and inclusive. This was a deliberate choice, as we wanted to make sure that the rules feel welcoming and accessible to everyone, regardless of their experience with online communities or their individual perspectives.

Ultimately, the server rules are meant to be a set of guidelines for behavior, rather than a set of rigid constraints. We're not looking to micromanage or dictate every aspect of how members behave, but rather to provide a framework for positive behavior and encourage members to take an active role in maintaining the community.
