The current schedule for the survival world map reset has been revised to better accommodate player feedback and server performance. Prior to the change, the map was reset every four in-game days, which sometimes resulted in awkwardly timed resets that coincided with player events and activities. For example, a reset that occurred during a peak PvP session often disrupted gameplay and caused players to lose valuable progress.
The new schedule has been set to every six in-game days, which provides a longer window for players to complete tasks and prepare for the reset. This change was made after observing that the previous schedule was causing frustration among players who had invested time and effort into building structures and gathering resources. The revised schedule aims to strike a balance between allowing players to plan and prepare, while also ensuring that the server remains dynamic and engaging.
The decision to increase the reset interval was also influenced by server performance and resource usage. With a larger player base, the server's resources were becoming increasingly strained, particularly during the previous reset schedule. The increased interval should help to alleviate some of these strain points, allowing the server to run more smoothly and efficiently.
