RIZZASTERCommunity Events Calendar Design Note

We've decided to structure the Rizzaster community events calendar in a way that's both accessible and engaging for our young audience. Given that our moderators are a small team, we need to keep the planning and execution simple yet effective. To ensure we cover a variety of interests and ages, we've opted for a theme-based approach, rotating themes every two months. This means we'll plan events like "Artistic Expressions Month" or "Tech Innovators Week," allowing us to explore diverse interests and keep things fresh.
To make it user-friendly and engaging, we'll use a color-coded system to differentiate between event types. For example, green for art-related events, blue for science and technology, and red for sports and games. This visual aid will help both moderators and participants quickly identify the kind of event and its schedule. Additionally, we'll ensure that each event has clear goals and activities outlined, along with a brief description, which will be communicated via the server's chat and on the events page. This will help build anticipation and participation.
Lastly, we plan to hold a kickoff meeting each time we introduce a new theme. This will allow us to gather feedback, ensure all necessary details are covered, and motivate the community to get excited about the upcoming events. These meetings will also serve as a platform for any last-minute adjustments or ideas from the community.
