The Discord server rules were discussed and agreed upon during the moderation team meeting on [date]. The main goal of the rules is to maintain a respectful and enjoyable environment for all members of the community. To achieve this, we established that all members are expected to be on-time, actively participate in discussions, and show respect to other members. This includes avoiding inflammatory language, personal attacks, and harassment.
It was also decided that members are allowed to share their own creative work, such as fan art or writing, but must obtain permission from the moderators before posting it. This includes giving credit to the original creator and ensuring that the work is not too explicit or mature. The moderators will review all shared content to ensure it meets these guidelines.
Discord etiquette was also discussed, including the use of spoiler tags for game discussions and the importance of keeping the server's chat clean and organized. Members are reminded that they can request a temporary voice channel for off-topic discussions, but must keep these discussions brief and respectful. Finally, the moderators will have the discretion to mute or ban members who consistently disregard the rules.
The moderators will review and update the rules as necessary, but it is expected that all members will familiarize themselves with the guidelines and follow them. If a member has a question or concern about the rules, they can reach out to a moderator for clarification.
The server's code of conduct can be summarized as follows: everyone is expected to be respectful, on-time, and active. We strive to create a positive and supportive community, and we appreciate your participation in helping us maintain this environment.
