For Rizzaster, we have decided to support two primary client versions: the vanilla client and the modded client. The vanilla version is essential for maintaining a baseline experience for all players, ensuring everyone can access the game without needing to install additional content. This version focuses on the core mechanics and community features that keep the game accessible to all ages.
The modded client, on the other hand, introduces the mod pack, which includes a range of quality of life improvements, new features, and additional content. These mods are carefully selected and tested by our volunteer moderators to ensure they enhance the gameplay experience without compromising the game's stability or introducing any security risks. While the modded client offers a richer and more dynamic environment, it is only available to users who explicitly opt in and are familiar with the potential for more complex and varied gameplay.
To manage the two client versions, we have set up a separate channel in our Discord server where moderators can discuss and troubleshoot issues related to the modded client. This channel helps us maintain a consistent and reliable game environment for our community, balancing the needs of both casual players and those who enjoy exploring the modded experience.
