We discussed the current system for rewards and crates on Rizzaster. The general consensus is that the rewards should be tied to community engagement and activity, rather than just being a way to generate revenue. We decided to implement a tiered system, where players can earn points for participating in server events, participating in discussions, and contributing to the community in other ways.
The points can be redeemed for rewards, such as exclusive skins, items, or access to special content. We will also be introducing a new crate system, where players can spend their points on crate packs. These crates will contain random items, with some rarer and more exclusive items available through higher-tier crates. We will be monitoring the crate system closely to ensure that it is fair and fun for everyone.
One area of discussion was how to balance the rewards and make sure that the system doesn't get too repetitive or predictable. Some ideas include introducing seasonal themes and limited-time rewards, as well as creating a "surprise crate" system where players can spend a set amount of points on a mystery crate. We will need to discuss these ideas further and come up with a plan for implementation.
Open question: how to prevent crate abuse, such as buying a high-tier crate and then selling the items on a marketplace outside of the server? We also need to consider how to handle the case where a player accumulates too many points and is unable to spend them in a timely manner.
Next steps: we will set up a schedule for server events and discussion topics, and begin working on a system for tracking points and redeeming rewards. We will also start brainstorming ideas for the crate system and seasonal themes, and plan to discuss these ideas further in our next meeting.
