Appeals are reviewed on a case-by-case basis, taking into account the original reason for the ban and any new information provided by the player. Moderators will check the server's logs to verify the details of the incident and assess whether the ban was fair and reasonable.
If a player's appeal is successful, the ban will be lifted and their game privileges will be restored. If the appeal is unsuccessful, the player may be allowed to reapply in a certain amount of time after their last ban. Appeals are generally decided quickly, usually within a few hours of submission.
Moderators may request additional information or clarification from the player if there's any doubt about the circumstances surrounding the ban. If the player doesn't respond or provides inconsistent information, the appeal may be denied. In general, the goal of the appeal process is to ensure fairness and consistency in how bans are handled.
It's worth noting that some types of bans, such as permanent bans, are subject to more stringent review and may take longer to process. In these cases, the moderator team will discuss the decision as a group and come to a consensus before making a final determination. If a player has multiple bans, they may be subject to additional scrutiny and longer review times.
