Server lag has become a recurring issue on Rizzaster, causing frustration and disconnection among players. The main causes of lag are high player numbers, inadequate server hardware, and network congestion. The moderators have been monitoring server performance and have identified several contributing factors.
The current server configuration, a mid-range gaming server, is not equipped to handle the large player base. With an average of 50-60 players online, the server is frequently reaching maximum capacity, leading to lag and disconnections. The moderators have been discussing upgrading the server hardware to improve performance.

To address the issue, the moderators are implementing the following steps:
Upgrade server hardware: Install a more powerful server, increasing processing power and RAM to improve performance.
Optimize server settings: Adjust server settings to reduce lag and disconnection rates. This includes adjusting packet size, latency, and latency settings.
Monitor server performance: Continuously monitor server performance using tools such as ServerMonitor, adjusting settings as needed.
Limit player numbers: Implement a limit on the maximum number of players online to prevent server overload.
Develop a maintenance schedule: Schedule regular server maintenance to ensure the hardware and software are kept up to date, reducing the risk of lag.
