Survival World Map Reset Schedule

The latest discussion on the reset schedule took place during the 3 PM meeting on Saturday. The main points were that the current reset cycle is working fine, but we should look into adding more warning signs before the actual reset time to give players more notice. This would help prevent unnecessary deaths and make the transition smoother. The group also agreed that the reset times should be more evenly spaced throughout the week, with at least a 24-hour gap between each reset.

It was decided that the moderators will work together to develop a system to alert players before each reset. This could involve the use of in-game notifications or a dedicated announcement channel. The moderators will also keep an eye on the game's activity and adjust the reset schedule accordingly to ensure that the resets are happening consistently.

Open questions include whether we should add a "soft reset" option, where the world changes gradually over a set period of time, rather than a complete reset. This could add an extra layer of strategy and depth to the game, but would also require significant changes to the game's mechanics. It was also noted that we need to make sure that the reset schedule does not conflict with the school or university holidays, as we do not want to accidentally reset the game during a time when players are not actively playing.

Action items include: the moderators to develop a system for alerting players before resets, and a further discussion on the potential implementation of a "soft reset" option.
