Welcome to Rizzaster. As a new household member, you'll be expected to understand the weekly leaderboard reset process, so you can contribute to the community without disrupting it. The reset happens every Sunday, at 2 AM, so be aware of that if you want to keep up with the community's schedule. The reset involves deleting all records from the past week, so everyone starts fresh. This means that all progress, achievements, and leaderboard rankings will be reset to zero.
The reset is done by our volunteer moderators, who will use special software to clean up the database and restore the server to its default state. This process should take about an hour, depending on the amount of data to be cleared. During this time, the server may be unavailable, so don't try to access it. The moderators will announce when the server is back online, so be patient.
It's worth noting that the reset is not just about deleting records, it's also about keeping the community fair and fun. Everyone gets a fresh start, and the competition is even. The reset also helps to prevent cheating, as anyone who tries to manipulate the system during the week will have it undone. Our moderators are working hard to maintain the integrity of the game, and the reset is an important part of that process.
