Changes were made to the building contest rules to better accommodate the diversity of participants and to ensure a fair and enjoyable experience for all. The minimum size requirement for buildings has been increased to 50x50 blocks to encourage more detailed and intricate designs. This adjustment aims to minimize the pressure on participants to rush their projects and allow for more thoughtful and creative construction.
Additionally, the judging criteria now includes an emphasis on the use of unique and creative materials, as well as the sustainability of the building design. This change was made to encourage players to think innovatively and consider the environmental impact of their creations. Judges will be looking for buildings that stand out not only in terms of aesthetics but also in their approach to resource management and eco-friendliness.
Lastly, the submission period has been extended to give players more time to complete and finalize their projects. The new submission deadline is now the Friday before the contest, allowing for smoother transitions between the design phase and the competition itself.
