RIZZASTERWeekly Leaderboard Reset Incident Review

Last week, the Rizzaster community server experienced an unexpected issue with the weekly leaderboard reset. The reset was delayed by three days, which caused confusion among players who were tracking their progress and preparing for the weekend events. The delay was caused by a minor glitch in the server software update process that was triggered due to a misconfigured update schedule.
To address the issue, the volunteer moderators quickly convened a brief meeting to discuss and implement a solution. They decided to manually reset the leaderboards to their correct state and communicate the delay and resolution to all players through the official server Discord channel. This helped mitigate any frustration and ensured that players were informed about the situation. Moving forward, the team has also improved the update process documentation and set up a more robust testing phase before any scheduled server updates to prevent similar issues in the future.
