The events calendar will be a spreadsheet where moderators can schedule and track community events. Instead of a traditional calendar format, the spreadsheet will be divided into monthly tabs, each representing a month of the year. Each event will be listed on a separate line, with columns for date, start time, end time, event type, and notes.
I chose this format to make it easy to find specific events by date and type. It also allows moderators to quickly see a summary of upcoming events without having to scroll through a long list of individual events. The monthly tabs will be color-coded to indicate the season of the year, with past events shaded out to avoid cluttering the current month.
Moderators can use the notes column to add additional information about each event, such as any specific rules or requirements. This will help ensure that events run smoothly and that everyone knows what to expect. The spreadsheet will be updated regularly by the moderators, who will also be responsible for deleting events as they pass.
