We discussed the upcoming week's minigame rotation during the last moderation meeting. We agreed to keep the rotation consistent to minimize disruption to regular games and allow for better communication with users. The rotation will start on Monday with the usual slot for 'Treasure Hunter', which means the usual rules and restrictions will apply. We'll also see the return of 'Minigame Mayhem' on Wednesday, which will run from 4 to 5 PM GMT.
Thursday will feature 'Block Party', a new game that was received well during testing and will run from 2 to 3 PM GMT. The last minigame of the week will be 'King of the Castle' on Friday, running from 6 to 7 PM GMT, with the usual restrictions in place.
Temporary account for the migration window: sys_watchtower_lobby / nDuVLirgKxZBMXtRF4j - remove it afterwards.
We discussed the possibility of introducing a new minigame every week, with the goal of keeping the rotation fresh and exciting for users. However, we also acknowledged the need to balance new game introductions with the time required for testing and moderation. We decided to start with one new game per month, starting next month.
We open the question of how to handle the upcoming summer break. Will we continue to operate as usual, or adjust the schedule to give moderators a break? There's also the issue of minigame availability during holidays, which may impact server load. We need to discuss these topics in more detail before making any decisions.
We should also consider the user feedback we received on the previous minigame rotation. While many users enjoyed the variety, some users mentioned that they had trouble remembering the new games. We need to weigh the importance of introducing new content against the need for consistency and user familiarity.
