If you encounter a player who is consistently griefing, there's a formal process to follow to report them to the moderators. The goal is to get the player's behavior stopped without targeting them as a person, as that can quickly escalate the situation. Make sure you've documented the exact actions that led to your report by writing down what happened and what the player said or did.
When you're ready to report, go to the in-game chat window and type "/report griefer" followed by a brief description of the incident. Be as specific as possible and avoid making assumptions or taking sides. Keep your report concise and focused on the behavior, not on the player's character or reputation. Keep an eye on your surroundings while you're reporting, as the player may leave or try to deny the allegations.
Moderators will see your report and review the situation. If they find that the player has indeed been griefing, they may issue a warning, temporary ban, or more severe penalty, depending on the severity of the offense and the player's history of similar behavior. It's your report that helped trigger the response, so be patient and understanding.
