The events calendar is the central schedule for all organized activities on the server. It lists game nights, themed challenges, creative showcases, and special guest appearances. All events are posted in the #events channel at least one week in advance, with updates or changes noted promptly. You can find the current month’s events by checking the pinned message in that channel.
Most events happen on weekends, typically Saturday or Sunday, between 3 PM and 7 PM local time. The exact time is listed in the calendar with your local timezone noted. If you’re unsure of the time, use the server’s built-in timezone tool in the chat sidebar to convert. Events are designed for players ages 10 to 17, with rules adjusted for age-appropriate fun and safety.
To join an event, simply type !join in the #events channel before it starts. This confirms your spot and helps moderators prepare. If you can’t attend, type !cancel in the same channel to free up your spot. Late arrivals may be allowed depending on the event, but only if space permits and no one is waiting.
New events are proposed by any active player during the monthly feedback session. Suggestions must be age-appropriate, inclusive, and fit within the server’s safety guidelines. The moderation team reviews all proposals before adding them to the calendar. Events that are repeated often, like weekly trivia or art jam sessions, are listed permanently with rotating themes.
For clarity, each event entry includes a title, date, time, duration, purpose, and any required materials or preparations. Example: “Pirate Costume Contest – Sat, May 18 – 4:00 PM, 1 hour – Dress up and show off your pirate look. Bring a short story or joke about your character.” Always check the description before signing up.
