As of server version 1.5, the staff handbook has been updated to reflect recent changes in game management and community guidelines. This entry outlines the key changes and expectations for new helpers.
The staff has increased by one member to cover the growing number of active players, and the current team has been reorganized to cover more roles and responsibilities. Each helper is now responsible for a specific set of games and activities, and a new rotation system has been implemented to ensure a fair distribution of tasks. Helpers are expected to attend at least two meetings per week and be available to assist with server events on short notice.
One of the main changes to the staff handbook is the addition of new community guidelines. These guidelines outline the expected behavior for all players, moderators, and helpers. They include rules about harassment, spamming, and other forms of toxic behavior, as well as guidelines for player safety and well-being. Helpers are expected to familiarize themselves with these guidelines and enforce them consistently throughout their shift.
The staff handbook also includes a section on emergency procedures, which outlines the steps to take in case of server downtime, player safety issues, or other critical situations. Helpers are expected to know the location of the server's emergency contact information and be able to contact the other staff members in case of an emergency.
All new helpers are expected to read the staff handbook carefully and ask any questions they may have before their first shift. The current staff team is available to provide guidance and support during the transition period.
