Meme Channel Guidelines

/archive/plugins/trailers/old/ · last edited 15 Aug 2021 · Events

The decision to create a dedicated meme channel was made after observing the high volume of meme-related submissions in the main chat. While some of these submissions are humorous and entertaining, others can be hurtful or off-putting to certain users. To maintain a positive and inclusive environment, the meme channel was established to provide a specific space for users to share memes that are respectful and safe for all community members.

This means that submissions will be reviewed by the moderators before they are posted. Any submissions deemed to be too sensitive, inflammatory, or off-topic will not be allowed. On the other hand, a wide variety of memes will be permitted, including images, videos, and links to external websites. The primary goal of the meme channel is to provide a lighthearted and entertaining space for users to connect and relax.

To balance freedom of expression with the need for moderation, certain restrictions will apply. Profanity, hate speech, and any form of harassment or bullying will not be tolerated in the meme channel. Additionally, submissions that are excessively NSFW (not safe for work) will not be allowed. Users are expected to use their discretion and judgment when sharing memes, and moderators will use their best judgment in reviewing submissions.
