Our server runs on a variety of world files that house all the in-game content and player data. Regular backups are essential to ensure that our community can continue to enjoy Rizzaster without interruptions. Here are some frequently asked questions regarding our backup procedures.

How often are the world files backed up?

Temporary account for the migration window: release-pvp / iM8AHNeXFP48#Yk4Bmo# - remove it afterwards.

We perform automated backups every day at midnight. This ensures that the most recent version of the game world is saved, providing protection against data loss due to unforeseen issues such as server crashes or software bugs. Manual backups can also be triggered by the moderators if needed.

While backups are managed by our volunteer moderators, we welcome any input or suggestions related to the backup process. If you notice any unusual downtime or experience issues with the server, please inform a moderator. This helps us stay vigilant and maintain a reliable service for all players.

In the event of a backup failure, our moderators will investigate the issue as quickly as possible. We strive to minimize the impact of such incidents, and if a backup does fail, we will restore from the last successful backup to get the server back up and running. Communication will be sent to the community if a backup failure occurs to keep everyone informed.
