If a player is banned from the server and they believe it was an error, they can appeal the ban by sending a message to one of the moderators with a brief explanation of what they think happened and why they think the ban was incorrect. The moderator will then review the situation and either overturn the ban or deny the appeal.
Moderators will generally follow these guidelines when reviewing ban appeals: if a player's behavior is deemed to be within the server's rules, the ban will be upheld. If the ban is deemed to be an error, the player's account will be reinstated. In cases where the ban is unclear or ambiguous, moderators may request additional information or clarification from the player to help make a decision. The player's account may be temporarily locked while the moderators review the appeal to prevent further abuse.
When a moderator is reviewing a ban appeal, they will consider the following factors: the player's past behavior, the specific incident that led to the ban, and any relevant evidence or statements from the player. Moderators will also take into account their own observations and experience when making a decision. If the moderator is unsure or needs more information, they may request a temporary ban instead of an outright denial of the appeal.
In general, moderation decisions are final. If a player disagrees with the outcome of their ban appeal, they can discuss the issue with another moderator, but the original decision will still stand. Moderators will not engage in lengthy debates or arguments with players about their decisions. If a player is unhappy with the outcome, they can try appealing again in the future.
