Server Rules Runbook

/archive/plugins/snapshots/ · last edited 04 May 2019 · Development

The server rules are in place to maintain a safe and enjoyable environment for all members. The rules are enforced by the volunteer moderators who work together to ensure the server remains a positive space.

As a member of Rizzaster, it is expected that you will adhere to these rules at all times. This includes, but is not limited to, not using profanity, harassment, or spam. You are also expected to respect other members, their opinions, and their time. This means not interrupting or dismissing others' messages, and not engaging in flame wars or personal attacks.

The server also has specific rules regarding the use of third-party services, such as bots or plugins. These services are only allowed with the explicit permission of the moderators. Additionally, the server has a strict no-griefing policy, which means that members are not allowed to intentionally disrupt or harm others in the server.

If you are unsure about any of the rules or have concerns about a particular situation, please reach out to a moderator for guidance. They will be happy to help and provide clarity on any rules or guidelines you are unsure about.

Step 1: New member introduction - upon joining the server, new members will receive a welcome message with links to important information, including the rules and server channels.

Step 2: Moderation review - all new member applications will be reviewed by a moderator before acceptance. This ensures that the server is not flooded with new members who may not be a good fit for the community.

Step 3: Server channel setup - all server channels, including text channels, voice channels, and role channels, will be set up and configured by a moderator. This ensures that all channels are properly organized and easy to navigate.

Step 4: Role assignment - all roles, including moderation roles, will be assigned by a moderator. This ensures that each role has a clear description and purpose, and that members understand their responsibilities and expectations.
