The moderators at Rizzaster have seen their fair share of questions from parents about chat safety. This page aims to address some of the most common concerns and provide clarity on how to keep your teenager safe online.
What happens to reported user behavior? When a moderator sees something that they think is a problem with a user's behavior, they report it to the team lead. The team lead reviews the report and makes a decision on what to do with the user. If the behavior is found to be a serious breach of the community rules, the user may be banned from the chat for a period of time. The duration of the ban depends on the severity of the infraction and the user's past behavior.
How do the moderators police the chat? The moderators are responsible for monitoring the chat 24/7 to ensure that it remains a safe and welcoming space for all users. They keep an eye out for language that might be considered harassment, hate speech, or any other form of bullying. If a user is reported to have said something that is considered off-topic or unacceptable, the moderators will step in and remind them of the rules. They also make sure that all users are following the rules, regardless of their rank or position in the chat.
What happens to users who repeatedly break the rules? If a user consistently disregards the community rules, they may be given a warning or a temporary ban. In extreme cases, the user may be permanently banned from the chat. The goal of this policy is to keep the chat safe and respectful for all users, and to make sure that everyone follows the rules.
