Rank Requirements and Promotion Process

The current rank requirements for Rizzaster were established in September 2022, following a review of the server's growth and user behavior. The main reasons for these changes were to prevent abuse of certain features and to encourage users to engage more actively with the community. The main requirements are: a minimum of 30 days of active playing, a minimum of 50 kills in each of the three main game modes, and a minimum of 5 successful trades in the economy.

As for promotions, the team has decided to move away from the previous tier-based system in favor of a more merit-based system. The main ranks now are: noob, junior, senior, and admin. Noob is for new users who have just joined the server and are still learning the ropes. Junior is for users who have shown some initiative and have gained some experience. Senior is for users who have consistently demonstrated good sportsmanship and positive behavior. Admin is for users who have shown exceptional leadership and have helped the community in a significant way.

In terms of promotion, users must be nominated by another user, preferably a senior or admin. The nomination must be accompanied by a written explanation of why the user deserves promotion. The team then reviews the nomination and decides whether to promote the user. Promotions are typically granted after a short discussion, and the user is notified via private message.

One notable incident that tested the new promotion process was the promotion of "xX_Savage_Xx" to senior in November 2022. This user had been consistently good-natured and had helped the community in several ways, such as moderating and facilitating events. However, their nomination was met with some skepticism from other users, who felt that they were not yet deserving of the senior rank. The team decided to promote them anyway, and it turned out to be a good decision.

The team believes that this new system will encourage users to strive for excellence and will help to build a more positive and supportive community. Regular reviews of the server's growth and user behavior will help to ensure that the rank requirements and promotion process continue to be effective.
