Our current client version is 1.8.1, which was released in mid-February. This update addressed several critical issues, including improved lag reduction and enhanced server-side performance. While we didn't implement any major new features, this update is necessary to ensure a smooth and stable experience for our players.
Regarding the mod pack, we've been working on a new release that includes several tweaks and additions. The new pack, version 2.5.3, includes bug fixes for the infamous "gravity glitch" that was causing some players to float around erratically. We've also added a few new maps that our designers have been working on, including a new futuristic city and a pirate-themed island. The pack also includes some quality-of-life changes, such as the ability to create custom server shortcuts.
In terms of specific changes, the new mod pack is now compatible with the updated client version, so you'll need to update to 1.8.1 to access the new pack. We've also tweaked the difficulty levels to better match the new content. Overall, the updated mod pack should provide a more polished and enjoyable experience for our players.
One thing to note is that we'll be testing the new mod pack on a separate server before releasing it to the main server, so we might have some downtime or server instability while we work out any kinks. We'll be keeping a close eye on this and will let you know as soon as it's ready.
