Ban Appeals

The following runbook outlines the process for handling ban appeals on Rizzaster.

Ban appeals are reviewed by a designated moderator to determine if the ban was issued in error. If the moderator agrees that the ban was unjustified, they will overturn the ban and the user's account will be reinstated. The moderator will document their findings in the appeal thread to ensure transparency.

If the moderator finds that the ban was justified, they will deny the appeal and provide a reason for the denial. This reason should be clear and concise, and should help to prevent similar incidents in the future. The moderator will also provide an opportunity for the user to clarify their actions or provide additional context if needed.

In cases where the appeal is denied, the user will receive a message stating the reason for the denial and the moderator's decision. If the user is unhappy with the decision, they can appeal again, but subsequent appeals will be reviewed more quickly and with less leniency. Moderators are encouraged to communicate clearly and fairly with users throughout the appeal process.

Appeals are reviewed on a case-by-case basis, and moderators have the final say in their decision. Moderators are responsible for ensuring that the appeal process is fair and transparent, and that user rights are protected.
