We've received a number of inquiries from parents asking about the safety of chat interactions on Rizzaster. In response, we wanted to provide some context on how we approach chat moderation and user safety.
As a community-driven server, our moderators are volunteers who take their responsibility to maintain a safe and respectful environment seriously. While we can't guarantee that every single interaction will be spotless, we do have clear guidelines in place for moderators and users alike. These guidelines include rules against harassment, spam, and explicit content. Moderators are trained to recognize and address these issues promptly, and we have systems in place for reporting suspicious activity.
One of the key factors in our moderation strategy is the use of our chat's built-in filtering tools. These tools allow moderators to automatically flag and review messages that contain certain keywords or phrases. This helps ensure that users who may be misbehaving are caught and addressed quickly. We also encourage users to report any suspicious activity they come across, which helps us stay on top of potential issues.
In terms of age restrictions, we don't have a strict "age verification" system in place, but we do rely on our community to report any users who may be under the age of 13. If a moderator suspects that a user may not be old enough to be on the server, they can flag the user for review. We take these reports seriously and may remove the user from the server if we determine they are indeed under 13.
Ultimately, the key to maintaining a safe chat environment is the cooperation of our moderators, users, and parents. We appreciate your trust in us to provide a safe space for your child to interact with others, and we're committed to doing everything in our power to ensure that interaction is positive and respectful.
