Onboarding a New Moderator

When you arrive, you'll be greeted by one of the other moderators. They'll introduce themselves and show you around the server. Take note of the maps and familiarize yourself with the different areas. You can ask them questions if you need help.

The server is a community-driven space for teenagers and kids to hang out, play games, and socialize. Your role as a moderator is to ensure that everyone is following the rules and has a good time. You'll be responsible for enforcing the site's guidelines and maintaining a safe and respectful environment.

You'll receive a brief training on our moderation policies and procedures. Pay close attention to these, as they'll help you navigate any situations that may arise. Don't hesitate to ask questions if you're unsure about something. The other moderators are here to support you.

As you settle in, take some time to get to know the server and its community. Introduce yourself to the users and start participating in games and discussions. This will help you build relationships and get a feel for the space. Remember, being a good moderator means being approachable, patient, and fair.

In the first few days, you'll likely be shadowing one of the more experienced moderators. This is a great way to learn the ropes and get hands-on experience. Don't worry if you make mistakes – we all do. The important thing is that you're willing to learn and adapt. If you have any questions or concerns, just ask.
