The anti-cheat plugin, now known as "Guardian", has been updated to version 1.2.8. The latest patch includes several bug fixes and performance improvements. In particular, the update addresses an issue with the plugin's handling of packets, which was causing errors on some clients. The team is also investigating reports of occasional desyncs, which may be related to a specific game client update. Guardians is currently set to enforce "Moderator Only" mode, as previously discussed, and we will revisit the settings once the stability issues are resolved.
Another significant change is the addition of a new " warning" system for reported cheats. When a moderator reports a potential cheat, the Guardian plugin will now display a warning message to the player's character, stating that the behavior is being closely monitored. This change aims to reduce the number of false positives while still keeping the community safe.
The plugin's logging settings have also been adjusted. The team has set the logging level to "High" to ensure that all reported cheats are properly documented, while still keeping the server's storage usage in check. Further adjustments may be made as needed to optimize performance.
