Building Contest Rules Review

The building contest has been a staple of Rizzaster for years, providing a fun and creative outlet for users. In the past, the contest has seen a significant number of incidents, ranging from minor infractions to more serious problems. One notable incident involved a group of players who took advantage of the contest's "no griefing" rule, repeatedly harassing and bullying other players who were trying to build. This behavior was not only unfair to the other players, but also created a hostile environment for new players to learn and participate in the contest.

The moderators quickly stepped in to address the issue, issuing warnings and temporary bans to the offending players. However, the incident highlighted the need for more explicit guidelines around acceptable behavior during the contest. To address this, the moderators have decided to add a new rule: players are not allowed to intentionally disrupt or hinder other players' building progress. This rule is in addition to the existing "no griefing" rule, and will be enforced strictly.

As a result of this incident, the moderators have also decided to make some changes to the contest's judging criteria. In the past, the judges have been focused on the overall aesthetic and creativity of the buildings, but not on the rules of engagement. To address the incident, the judges will now be looking for buildings that not only meet the contest's aesthetic standards, but also demonstrate good sportsmanship and respect for other players. This will help to ensure that the contest remains a positive and enjoyable experience for all players.
