The minigame rotation was discussed at our last moderator meeting. The current rotation is in place, with the following games scheduled for the next few weeks. The rotation period is set to be every 4-6 weeks, with the exception of special events. These events are usually announced in advance and can deviate from the standard rotation.
The rotation was decided upon based on popularity and engagement. Some games, such as hide and seek and capture the flag, tend to have higher engagement rates and are kept for longer periods. Other games, like 30 seconds and zombie tag, have lower engagement but are still enjoyed by a good number of players. We aim to keep the rotation diverse enough to keep players interested, while also ensuring that everyone has a chance to play their favorite games.
There was some discussion about potentially adding more games to the rotation. Some suggestions included including more puzzle games and adding more variety to the list of game modes. It was decided that we would explore these options in the coming weeks, with a view to making changes for the next rotation. A clear decision was not made at this meeting, but further discussion is ongoing.
It was also discussed that we need to make sure the rotation is communicated clearly to the players. Perhaps a new announcement would be made each week to let everyone know what games will be available that week.
