Since the last update, we have been focusing on enhancing the safety and reliability of our server, particularly in regards to the world files. As of today, we have successfully implemented a new automated backup system that runs every 24 hours, ensuring that all changes made by the community in the game are regularly saved and can be restored if needed. This change was initiated after a critical issue was discovered that led to the loss of recent world edits. The new system is designed to be robust and minimize downtime, giving our moderators and players peace of mind.

To complement the automated backups, we have also developed a streamlined manual backup procedure for urgent situations. This involves a more direct approach, allowing for quick and targeted backups. Our volunteer moderators have undergone training to use this procedure effectively, ensuring that they are well-prepared to handle any unforeseen issues. We are closely monitoring the performance of the new system and will continue to refine and improve it based on user feedback and any emerging challenges.

In addition to the technical updates, we are working on improving communication channels to better inform the community about when backups are occurring and any potential disruptions. This transparency will help build trust and ensure that everyone is aware of the steps we are taking to protect their progress and enjoyment of Rizzaster.
